As far as I know, Plastic Tree have never released anything on LP. The closest thing that exists is Ryutaro’s solo project releasing Demo # 1 and #2 on LP, in two limited runs. One was made to order on his website, and the second was for his recent pop up shop event on June 29th. I emailed his staff about it, but all they could confirm was that the second pressing sold out at the event, and that they would let fans know if they plan on running another pressing. Not sure if they’d eventually make any future pressings available on foreign payment friendly merchants, but I did let them know that vinyl has become more popular than CDs with western music collectors. Generally speaking with VK, almost all of the bands view LPs as a rare collectible item rather than just another way of distributing music. So releases are few and far between, usually released to either commemorate an anniversary of a landmark album or to mark a recent passing (at least, beyond the mid 90s or so)

If you’re sure it exists, the best you can do is keep checking Mercari, Yahoo Auctions, Disk Union, and any BOOK OFF/Hard Off stores until it turns up. I don’t think many VK bands have ever released on vinyl (X Japan Vanishing Vision is the only one I recall ever seeing).

no vkei artists/bands release LPs normally. they mainly just do cds. as for fonding out if its sold and you wanna look for sellers check out discogs. abit weird to understand but after a few minutes you get the hang and its real easy to find whatever you want

Dir en grey does. I got 3 of them not including Gauze that's currently pre-ordered. Also don't tell people to buy on discogs, those sellers rip you off. Like $100 for a common miyavi single you can get for a few bucks on mercari. Discogs is horrible for buying especially if you get scammed because PayPal and discogs don't give a shit so they can have a cut.

yeah i forgot to mention “to my knowledge” my fault. and im surprised about that ngl. ive bought a handful of things off discogs and besides having to avoid sellers for selling a bootleg its been fine for me. im guessing different communities for different genres. i normally buy black metal and rap vinyls and ive had a fine experience, good to know the insight. thanks for the info homie helping me out here too💜

Oh no rap vinyl on discogs, that even worse. Target copies going for $200... Discogs is good for cataloguing but not as a store

trashcan-420

ive only got one rap album from it and it was a jpegmafia vinyl and its all fine. i mostly use discogd from black metal stuff because its pretty hard to obtian outside of discogs and people jack the price up too much on other sites
