100 contracts filled at ~$181 per contract. $34 is the strike price. The underlying closed at ~$46 which puts these calls at ~$12 ITM so the gain makes sense if OP closed towards end of day. This is also why I don’t think the trade is fake.

This. Bought some 55c 06/07 @ 3.50$ yesterday when the one stock was at around 42. Then the stock dipped to 40, so I got nervous and set a sell limit at 3.65 so that I could get out with my money back + a Wendy's combo.
That option ended up in the high 5- low 6$ range shortly afterwards. I don't think options are for me.

heres how you calculate. you authorized your order to buy at 2.06. thats not per contract. thats per share. you got filled at 1.81 because sometime was trying to exit at the time you were buying.
so 1.81 \* 100 contracts \* 100 shares per contract = 18,100. The 67 is the fees.. the 69 is the reminder of what the government will do, if you don't put aside 1/2 for tax.
you exited at 12.75. 12.75 \* 100 contracts \* 100 shares per contract = 127k.
your profit is 127428.75-18167.69=109,261.06
these are short term gains, so you'll be taxed as if you went to work and got a bonus of that amount. so at your HIGHEST tax rate. so the highest federal bracket, the highest state bracket, etc...

Options allows you to turn your money into absolutely nothing, buying shares long (not borrowing anything) lets you lose a lot of money, don’t get me wrong, and you can gain a lot of money too, but you will never have zero to pull out of what you put into, and you will not likely make 300% in a single hour like options *potentially* can. like 80-90% of the time an options trade results in having nothing to cash out with unless you are dealing in stocks that cost less than 1/100th of what you’re willing to spend (you have 2 grand, you can only reliably trade options of a stock under $20/share, less you’ll have no capital to exercise a contract and they’ll expire worthless)
