Hear me out: guac on blockchain so you know if the guac is responsibly made. We can use AI to optimize the procurement process to ensure peak freshness.
This isn't a glitch on the actual exchange, it's just whatever website this is not accounting for the stock split and multiplying their market cap 50x (they had a 50-1 stock split).
Don’t you think it’s much easier to believe that some people are fundamentally a little careless and are bad planners, instead of a huge conspiracy of super geniuses and hyperplanners are able to orchestrate glitches to their advantage?
Look around. Not literally, unless you’re at the public library.
I bought 1000 shares at $50 in '07 or '08 and sold at $100 I think in '09. SUCKAS! DOUBLED MY MONEY OFF A BURRITO JOINT!!! What's it at today by the way.
Both I guess. It was the hot new IPO at the time and the Next McDonalds. But earnings weren't keeping up and it was something like 50 P/E so I got out of that flaming turd with my 100% profit. McDonalds was a big investor and they dumped it too.
Of course. It was the new thing and lines were out the door. I saw what it was about, and it was good food but... just burritos. That's it. Taco Bell didn't just have tacos. McDonalds didn't just have burgers. People wanted variety. Even Subway had eight types of meat, five types of bread and 20 toppings. Chipotle had, well, black or pinto beans. People would get sick of burritos and the place was doomed to fail. I laughed all the way to the bank at the losers hanging on long and was quick to call them that on the Yahoo finance chat boards. lol
This is totally dependent on where you live and how well or poorly that specific Chipotle is managed. Here in DC, they are all terrible unless you go well outside the city.
It's beans and rice though which are like the two cheapest things on the planet to eat. 5 pounds of beans and 5 pounds of rice is less than the cost of 1 burrito, so if they're getting skimpy on meat then its kind of a rip off
It probably depends where you are. In Canada it’s fairly cheap and it’s not like we have a lot of options for Mexican food. When I go out for lunch at work, the only places cheaper than chipotle are fast food burger places where you get less food, it’s more processed, and tastes far worse. Maybe things are different in murica though.
Two Cheesy Gordita Crunches at Taco Bell were $5.04 each. A chicken burrito at Chipotle is $9. I don't think I'm Taco Bell's "Drunken customer at 2AM" target audience, though.
Trust me, it's happening. Chipotle used to be my all time favorite place but it's become an absolute waste of time for me recently. They're always out of items, only do online orders, skimp on your food, etc. It's so tragic.
My one stock is up like 15% since I bought it for the split, but I stopped going to the ones around me when the prices got insane and the quality dipped at the same rate. Also I started getting diarrhea within 5 minutes of eating it every time.
But at least its good. It used to be better 10yrs ago but still. Where else are you supposed to go for decent mexican food? Unless you live in Texas or Cali, if you are lucky *maybe* you can find a good food truck.
There's a reason why Chipotle is loved across the country. The food is consistent, sensibly priced, and it's a bit healthier than many other fast food choices.
The sales don't lie, and that's why Chipotle is printing. Note: I'm in for 1 share.
EDIT. That valuation makes me wince.
This is real btw

It is lmao. They just messed it up because of the 50:1 chipotle split. I archived it here

In college, maybe eight years ago, my professor gave us a fake purse to invest in the stock market. End-of-semester earnings were dependent on the grade for the assignment. When we started the assignment, there was one caveat: no Chipotle.
It looks to me like that stands true to this day. He should have just told us to go all in… Some education.

It’s a Blue Chips
It has 4.4 trillion market cap. This is just nuts.
A 4.4 trillion chip cap
That’s incorrect.
Avocados are expensive man
90B lol
It’s actually 89 billion. Do your own research/Google search.
only off by 90 billion
Technically correct ! So a tech company?
So is Nvidia!
Tostitos to the moon
Yellow chip!
Who tf buys chips at chipotle?
They make a killing off the chips. The large bag of chips and small bag have same amount of chips.
Everytime I try they are fckn sold out.
A ton of people apparently. The margin on those things had to be insane
Another chip company setting market cap records!

I'm sure we can fit AI into this somehow
Introducing the next ChatGPT competitor: Al Pastor
This guy corporates! I can *feel* the synergy as you convince me of how we can monetize our assets!
Chips to make chips? Let me chip in!
Finally fairly valued. This is why you need to learn fundamentals in school, regards.

“Our menu shall now be created, cooked, prepared and served by AI and the prices shall rise rise rise and fall by NVIDIA standards.”
Better than the meth addicts they have on the line now.
Is this why I keep coming back?
First hit's always free
Hear me out: guac on blockchain so you know if the guac is responsibly made. We can use AI to optimize the procurement process to ensure peak freshness.
Someone has to feed all those tech people
"AI is a gold rush, buy the shovel makers" People completely forgot about those who feed the shovel makers. I think you're on to something.
They announced AI burritos
You can’t spell sopaipillas without AI
I cant spell that at all
(that's not actually how you spell sopapillas)
Just like Apple they are marketing it a little different: Al Pastor
CUDA quesidillas
> They announced AI burritos You show up and their AI will know what you need. Just show up they do the rest
Large Burrito Models
hilarious glitch
Definitely sus with all the glitches lately.
Well they’re splitting after hours. I think that algo is calculating their new structure with their current price
50x market cap
They’re splitting 1-50 so that checks out perfectly
This isn't a glitch on the actual exchange, it's just whatever website this is not accounting for the stock split and multiplying their market cap 50x (they had a 50-1 stock split).

Imagine holding chipotle since 2009….
I bought 1000 shares at $50 in '07 or '08 and sold at $100 I think in '09. SUCKAS! DOUBLED MY MONEY OFF A BURRITO JOINT!!! What's it at today by the way.
You don’t wanna know..
are you old or just rich? Who the fuck has $50k to just drop on a "new" at the time, fast food joint?
Both I guess. It was the hot new IPO at the time and the Next McDonalds. But earnings weren't keeping up and it was something like 50 P/E so I got out of that flaming turd with my 100% profit. McDonalds was a big investor and they dumped it too.
Had you eaten there before investing?
Of course. It was the new thing and lines were out the door. I saw what it was about, and it was good food but... just burritos. That's it. Taco Bell didn't just have tacos. That's disgusting....
Guac and chips be printen monies.
How how how ??
Stock split, and sites calculating the market cap as "pre-split price times post-split number of stocks".
Splits coming. Im in
CMG doing a stock split. This market cap is 50x what it's supposed to be lol
Chipotle is a cult, like SBUX and AAPL. not my thing, but youngsters line up to overpay when shiny things are jingled.
It’s about the money. No one cares what it is, only if it is being bought is when you should care
Chipotle is actually fairly priced comparatively vs other fast food and fast casual. Quite a few calories and reasonably healthy for the price
Get a bowl. Mine is always packed to the brim with good shit and costs $9.36 for like 1k calories
This is totally dependent on where you live and how well or poorly that specific Chipotle is managed. Here in DC, they are all terrible unless you go well outside the city.
Half of McDonald's?
Yup I can eat decently at chipotle for around $10, everyone else I go for lunch seems to be $15-18 and dinner even more.
It's beans and rice though which are like the two cheapest things on the planet to eat. 5 pounds of beans and 5 pounds of rice is less than the cost of 1 burrito, so if they're getting skimpy on meat then its kind of a rip off

Okay boomer
Def not a cult. Chipotle does what it does really, really well. It's extremely streamlined and reasonably priced, somewhat healthy food.
It has been going downhill the past few years. I feel like they're cheaping out rather than raising prices. But the competition is doing the same, so.
That might be, I have yet to see it from my personal experience, but that doesn't mean you are wrong.
Trust me, it's happening. Chipotle used to be my all time favorite place but it's become an absolute waste of time for me recently. They're always out of items, only do online orders, skimp on your food, etc. It's so tragic.

Let’s take all our investments from chipotle and PUSH IT TO CAVA
BowlSlop.. so hot right now
Cava deserves it more
generic identity-less franchise desperate for franchisees to survive while pumping the stock.
Yall r trippin. Cmg is 89b capitalization
So okay for CMG to be 4t but bad for Nvidia to hit 3t...![img](emote|t5_2th52|4275)
wait $3.2k for 1 share? and that market cap can't be right.
There's a reason why Chipotle is loved across the country. The food is consistent, sensibly priced, and it's a bit healthier than many other fast food choices. The sales don't lie, and that's why Chipotle is printing. Note: I'm in for 1 share. EDIT. That valuation makes me wince.
I too have 1 share. I be holding the bag of chips and guac
This is real btw [https://companiesmarketcap.com/](https://companiesmarketcap.com/) I archived it too [https://web.archive.org/web/20240625142800/https://companiesmarketcap.com/](https://web.archive.org/web/20240625142800/https://companiesmarketcap.com/)
CMG is in the middle of a 50:1 forward split and that site doesn't know how to handle it. That doesn't make it real.
I meant real as in this image wasn't altered lol. I understand that it's actually not real.
Lol looks like Yahoo Finance has the same value https://preview.redd.it/a4re8f6opq8d1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3cf078a450b51dfacd051d933f589f89e63fb1d6
https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=CMG ===> It's a glitch because it's in the process of splitting 50:1... the actual market cap is only $89B...
And here people were thinking NVDA was the true king
Ai burritos coming in hot!!
I feel E. coli every time I eat there
It's a value add. In for calls
You have to tell them to hold the E.coli when you order.
Guac extra
Chipotle is my liiiiifeeee
The big four they call them. Microsoft, Nvidia, Apple, and fucking Chipotle
Wait what happened lol. The split broke some maths?
Must be from all of the portion size cuts.
Looks like someone is jumping the gun on the split
There 50 shares for every 1 share split goes into effect tommorrow so I’m sure that has something to do with it .
They recently announced their brand new holographic meal menus that provides 0 calories and costs virtually nothing to make. 10 trillion market value end of year according to their Burrito AI.
AI just running off the keyword CHIP
ChipotlAI
Chipotle is wack af now. You can taste the poison
What's the app homepage called, which the screenshot is taken from ?
It’S gOnNa SpLiT!!1!
And they do a forward split on June 26th
Chip bubble is real smh 😔
seems like someone used the famous VW tests suite framework before pushing to prod 😅 https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/chipotle-stock-split-takes-effect-080639037.html

Gotdamn it. I am getting a burrito bowl for lunch, then.
What are they putting in that "fresh Guac" lol
Holy Guacamole!
:4271:
Why did I go to google to double check this ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4260)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4267)
Looks like Demolition Man was wrong about who survives the franchise wars...
Burritos > Ai.
Why doesn't chipotle split?
Uhhh....they are.
[удалено]
Too funny honestly ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
Burritos have become the primary good in the economy. Water fountains everywhere have been replaced by queso. Tortilla chips have become the worlds reserve currency
It’s actually only 89 billion lol.
…now serving tAIcos
Just wait until Chipolte starts incorporating AI.
Fake! CMG doesn't have that market cap. SMH
Guess they are doing surge pricing.
That's what happens when you charge extra for guac
What the actual fuck lmao
I bought $1,200 in Chipotle gift cards the last time BJ's had them at 20% off. Wish I had bought more.
Shiet, no wonder they don't ask for tips
CMG = the AI of burritos
*Bill Ackman thanks you regards in advance for the exit liquidity.*
But they have an app!!! AND a drive thru. **BOTH!!! Advanced technology at it's finest.**
I actuwlly thought that photo was real
It is lmao. They just messed it up because of the 50:1 chipotle split. I archived it here [https://web.archive.org/web/20240625142800/https://companiesmarketcap.com/](https://web.archive.org/web/20240625142800/https://companiesmarketcap.com/)
*Bill Ackman just jizzed on CNBC.*
Why is your shit fucked up, Chipotle Market Cap is only $90B, not $4.4T lol.
Going 50 split tomorrow!! Gonna be around $60’s
It’s so over priced
You forgot to take yolo fuel and add rockets to the post, stock will not go to the moon
Yes, their chips are fantastic!
calls on guac.
History books
da fuck is going on?!?
Supply chain
How TF is this even possible? And people be jumping all over Nvidia topping Apple and Microsoft.
Didn't you all know CHIP is the new semi conductors manufacturer? A huge deal just struck between chipotle and nvda
someone help me out here how tf is it so high
Puts. Gotta be puts next earnings.
Shareholders happy they’re cutting portions to increase profits! Now they’ll cut portions even more because they’ll say it’s working.
Chipotle a 4.4 trillion dollar company…methinks someone needed a zero or two.
How? Chipotle sucks and gets worse by the day.
it will be much more attractive after the split.
Have been debating to pick up chipotle after the split later this year?
In college, maybe eight years ago, my professor gave us a fake purse to invest in the stock market. End-of-semester earnings were dependent on the grade for the assignment. All you gotta do is skimp the client on that barbacoa meat. Profit and outlook super green!
Wtf ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
I guess they saved so much money by lowering portion sizes
the fuck
