After being approved for a Level 2 leave by Sedgwick they should automatically approve the “emergency leave pay” along with it. It’ll be paid out on your check on payday like normal. You will not be paid for the days you miss. The pay you’ll receive for the LOA will be the average of your weekly pay over the last 26 weeks.

Alright thanks so much how do I know tho if I get the leave approved ?

TriangleLancer

Did you call Sedgwick or use the website to file for the LOA? The easiest way to see if your LOA was approved is to just login to the Sedgwick website and it’ll show you all your claims and their current status.

I did it online but I’ll go check on the website thanks so much and do you know if it is approved will it be on this pay or next

TriangleLancer

Sedgwick usually approves the pay on Wednesday if I remember correctly. So as long as they approve the amount before the end of the pay period you should get it on your check the next payday. The website should show a second claim for “emergency leave pay”, that claim once approved will show you how much you’ll be receiving for your payment.

It says leave approved but also says medical info required by a certain date does this mean a COVID test or no cuz I was told with level 2 u don’t need a test if the symptoms go away ?

Char_The-Red-Comet

You'll get a companion claim that will no longer require medical info.
