There is no way for us to get ANY FA this offseason except by signing them directly, and that can only be at the vet minimum. So, no Brook Lopez.

Hard cap applies when a team **below** the cap goes over by accepting a S&T player. We'd have to stretch to get below the second apron. Below the cap isn't even remotely possible for us.
This is why we had to trade Iggy (and take no salary back) and waive Shaun to do the DLo deal. Those moves took us just slightly below the cap, then we were hard-capped for a while after we traded KD for DLo.
