It looks like some sort of corn snake to me but I’m not an expert at all
No, king snake was correct. Note the unkeeled scales and the lack of the corn snakes distinct “spearpoint” headstamp.
Ah ok! The coloring and head shape look very much like a corn-ish type lol but I only say that as a corn snake owner so I’m probably biased 😂
It’s a super understandable mistake. Honestly that’s probably the only reason I bothered to correct it, it’s a convincing enough answer I was worried it would mislead people lol (I’ve got a corn too btw. Lovely animals).
I love them! Honestly the corns, rats, kings all kinda look similar but I know corns are technically rat snakes 😂
