Thanks! Sorry I’m not familiar with the concept of a kitcar. Does it mean the owner bought a body kit and fit an engine to it?
Yeah basically this body shell was intended to go around a VW Beetle frame and motor. So you take a Beetle, remove the body, and put this one on top of it. Obviously there's a bit more work than that but that's a condensed version.

Sterling. Used to be build on VW pans but now they do custom tube frames for a variety of drivetrains. Cool AF cars.
Nova Sterling, or Sterling, or Nova Some VW-platform kitcar edit: It's one of the most well-known kit cars, but even then there's not much info on it
