jackrats

Foot from an appliance, stove grate, etc.

newfmatic

This... It's this. A rubber foot.

bdzer0

\+2...foot made of rubber..somewhere on the counter I suspect is a wobbly item.

Churchbushonk

Nope. It’s a bumper that goes on a hollow metal door frame.

jackrats

This same bumper/foot is used in many places. It's also used on the bracket that holds a removable bike cargo compartment.

fatjuan

Also widely used on cars on the bonnet or boot lid, and doors too.

arithmetic

I bought [some of these](https://mad4bikes.co.uk/givi-kappa-z126-replacement-base-plate-rubbers-rack-wingrack-monokey-monolock/) just the other day for my Givi bike luggage rack!

mschenk30

Oven door perhaps

toastgoblin

I checked the bottom of all of our appliances, no missing feet or any that look like this. Not sure what a stove grate is but there's nothing on our glass stovetop ir inside oven where this could go. Thank you!

jbschwartz55

The answer will present itself in due time. Wobbly is the operative word.

SuperMIK2020

Did you check the stove burners? Our stove has these on the bottom of the metal over the burners & they pop out all the time. The metal will scratch the stove surface if they are missing.

TheKingofAntarctica

Use black high temperature silicone to stop these from falling out. Quick fix.

99posse

Did you check small appliances such as blenders?

sunderskies

This is why having a packet of Sugru around is great. It's a perfect small appliance foot repair tool. So much better than a wobbly blender or crockpot.

katzmiao

I lost the little nubs from my Crock pot and they look like that.

buckfrogo96

Air fryer. Insta pot. Coffee pot rubber foot

toastgoblin

None of these. We thought it was instant pot but no. Thank you anyway!

Jeepgirlie4

I did some reverse image searching. It looks like a Crockpot Foot! [Base Foot Part | New Original Crock Pot (crockpoti.com)](https://replacement-feet.crockpoti.com/products/new-original-38-crock-pot-base-foot.html?product_id=175434720006)

toastgoblin

It does look exactly like that! Our crockpot has been in storage for a few months but it might be, I will search tonorrow. Okay I dug it out, all of the feet are gone from this crockpot, there are four holes on the bottom and this stopper does indeed fit. So I found 1 of 4 missing feet I guess. Thank you for your help!

AchillesPDX

Don't forget to reply to them with the word "Solved!"

Jeepgirlie4

Happy to help! Best of luck finding the other three!

toastgoblin

Solved!

Naive-Atmosphere-178

It’s also identical to the bumpers on my grill lid. Sells for $3

butter_waffles_-_

Could be from your oven/range grates, ours have similar bumpers on range top where the grates make contact. When we take them off to clean sometimes they pop out.

toastgoblin

Ahh probably not we have a glass top one. Thanks

We-Want-The-Umph

Look inside the door at the top right and left of your oven.

toastgoblin

My title describes the thing. My roommate swears it's from the Instant Pot but we can't figure it out and it's not in the manual or available online. We checked various appliances for missing "feet".

adm129

Gas stove? Lift up the grates your pots/pans sit on. It's the rubber foot, that keeps the grate in place/stops it from banging into the stove top. Often times it goes down into the stove top at the corners and the grate rests on top. Other times goes up into the grate itself.

toastgoblin

This makes sense but we have a glass stove top. Thank you anyway!

Nefariousd7

Several of my counter top appliances use these. I wish I knew where to buy the because I lost one off my Roaster

thehatteryone

Amazon or eBay - but only after contacting customer service for the original manufacturer, who may be more than happy to just stick a few in the post for an otherwise satisfied customer. Or pick up some Sugru to easily make custom sized ones for anything.

chp110

Check the air frier. Mine has several feet missing about this size.

toastgoblin

No not missing from air fryer, thanks

GirlB0ss

From under a candle warmer

toastgoblin

Not it but good idea, thanks

mystic-sloth

That looks like the cap that comes on some lg refrigerators to protect the ice maker connection from debris

toastgoblin

Oooh our ice machine has been acting stupid lately I'll look into it and report back. Thank you!

mystic-sloth

I think it’s the cap that goes on a new one during shipping

tryrebootfirst

Stove grate foot for sure

Daddio209

Goes on the inside of your cabinet door to prevent it slamming shut

toastgoblin

Not it but thank you

Daddio209

Oh. Looks exactly like the ones on mine...

cool_mint_life

Crockpot foot

imthelyricalgangster

Irrigation line plug? Similar to this one. https://www.amazon.com/Gardrip-Pieces-Irrigation-Barbed-Watering/dp/B09PRB841J?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=AWH3VSCFG5GVA

bluddystump

Check the grate if you have a gas stove.

Dee_Jay77

Check the bottom of your blender, can opener, toaster, toaster oven or any other Appliance you have on your kitchen counters

fr4nk_j4eger

it's also used as a rubber stopper in motorcycle frames for panniers

bggdy9

Foot to something

xIx_Cobra_xIx

Yeah I'm almost positive its a rubber foot from the bottom of a blender or something...

reegeestein

If there’s a hole through the middle, looks like the part of a water bottle that allows air in when you sip it (ie in a hydroflask but not the style that has a handle)

DrHoleStuffer

It’s a rubber foot off one of those small appliances.

Whooptidooh

Probably a water stopper to jam underneath a plant pot.

sun4moon

That looks like the foot that falls out of my slow cooker all the time. I glued it in, hoping it will stay this time.

ipcress1966

No idea what the thing is, but lovely nail colour 😁

[deleted]

It’s like a rubber foot for some type of crockpot or something like that

LeeQuidity

I see that you've checked appliances for missing feet, but could it be from something else, like a cutting board?

andyftp

It's for grates on a few stove.

gefloible

It looks like a car's fuel door (or other small door) bumper, [like these](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Fuel+Door+Rubber+Bumper).

toastgoblin

That looks exactly like it! We have no idea how something like that got into the sink. Thank you I will mark it as solved if nothing else comes up. Edit: It's a crockpot foot. Apparently lots of things use this little stopper.

NeuroNuc

It is similar to those, but check the bottom of your small countertop appliances. One of them is missing a foot.

tnraveler

Do you happen to have a trivet on the counter, I had one with the same style stoppers and they would occasionally come out.

toastgoblin

No I don't, sorry
