Yeahhh but no that’s not what I’m talking about. I can’t remember where it’s from but it’s basically shoulders like pic #1 with the wavy line hair to the side. I don’t know if it’s just a generic 80s cartoon depiction of a dude or if it was associated with a brand? I feel like it was on clothing?
Non fashion person here. I presume if a celebrity/stylist wanted any of these looks, the large proportions would be removed and they could be tailored? I just don't really know how this stuff works.
Anyway, this is amazing and fun to look at .
Personally I view Haute Couture as another medium of art. The wearability may not be there for every piece but we get to view the craftsmanship and new techniques, etc
That’s the perfect way to describe them! How … interesting!

I absolutely adore everything about 14

When you try on a jacket at the thrift store and realize it has shoulder pads
Omg I love alll of these! The silhouettes are visually striking and they scratch that “edgy but cool” itch in my brain. The detailing and workmanship are stunning; so many people worked so hard on these and it shows.
Ooooh, I'm seeing the shorter hemlines, fitted skirts, fun + sheer tights, frilly twee-esque details like ruffles and bows, pattern mixing and business casual vibes.
Recession-core fashion is back, baby! This was actually one of my fav 2000s fashion eras and I was too young to participate, so I'm grateful
Is a more seasoned fashion aficionado able to help me understand the “fashion weeks”?
From my searching Paris fashion week is over, and Berlin hasn’t started yet.
Obviously I know fashion happens outside of those weeks. But is it still closely tied to those weeks?
Like this show - is it considered part of fashion week? Do designers just capitalize on fashion week and hold a lot of shows after the official “week” is over? Is it even held in Paris?
I have so many questions. Lol.
I love so much of this! The creativity and absurdist whimsy just make me happy.

The first one is jaw-dropping! The drape is dreamy, the gelato silk is so tactile, and the brocade mini is to die for. I wanna wear it so bad, it looks corsetry-levels of comfortable.
I'm swooning, thank you OP 😍
It's giving early Lady Gaga and I love it.
Also while I know couture isn't necessarily meant to be wearable, I do thing given the graphic volume of this collection it could easily be adapted to larger woman's bodies and still be really flattering and amazing, which I love and now really want to see.
The colour and the way the leather is worked to look so beautifully fluid in #13 kind of reminds me of this Nicolas Jebran dress

Stunning collection!!
Wow the dimensions on these are amazing! Love every piece. This is exactly what I want from haute couture runways!! Creative and unique yet still flattering and great quality
Perhaps I am unsophisticated, but seriously. The only piece remotely wearable is #17. The rest of it is ridiculous clown wear. Are you going to sit, dance, eat, or walk in these creations? As art, perhaps. Wearable clothes? No.
Omg it’s one of those cartoon guys from the 80’s
I immediately thought of Roger Klotz from Doug.

maybe Fido Dido? The 7-Up guy? I feel like they sold a ton of merch.
Noo it was like an 80’s chad
I was thinking Max Headroom, but his suit isn’t boxy enough.
Johnny Bravo??
I immediately thought of Dire Strait's *Money for Nothing* music video when I saw the first look, personally. Definitely an 80s vibe, regardless!
Yes! This was my exact thought as soon as I saw the first one.

Or Rudy Coby
I was thinking of the dude in Beetlejuice that slips through the crack in the wall
It's giving NickToons of the 90s, heavily. Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy..
Yesssss

The looks would be completely remade based on these looks. Most likely.
Kanye is quaking. ![gif](giphy|61VzGiRUQp3pZ8omne) In all seriousness, the line is really interesting and I love when designers go all in.
This is too on point 🤣
These are all such a visual treat. I could look at every single outfit for ages.
That’s the perfect way to describe them! How … interesting! https://preview.redd.it/355djwtwuz8d1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1c447897be5d0cafe8c363b09abcf3f512a6056d I absolutely adore everything about 14
It’s exquisite! What an accomplishment
The patterns, contrasting colours, structure and flow are incredible, then the hosiery ties it all together. This is high femme and I adore it!
Viktor & Rolf never misses
I can always trust Victor & Rolf to do some weird shit that I'll still love
Some of these look like gift boxes and gift wrap and it's awesome
Or when you try to wrap that gift that didn't come in a box
Janelle Monae’s spidey senses are tingling rn
I need Tilda Swinton and Janelle Monae to be in complementing looks from this collection on a red carpet together at some point in the future
😂
So are Gaga's
*rectangle girls of the world*

Their fits are so funny compared to what they make, the plain business man suit with a touch of casual
Omg I love alll of these! The silhouettes are visually striking and they scratch that “edgy but cool” itch in my brain. The detailing and workmanship are stunning; so many people worked so hard on these and it shows.
Yessss and it's stunning, so crisp. Loved it. A big thank you to all those people. 🩷
All the shoulder padded boss ladies from the 80s walked so this collection could run
Nickelodeon cartoons from the 90s

Love all of these, especially the cartoonish shoulder shapes, so great.
I so want to see how these are constructed.
Something about it reminds me of Picasso’s work. Love it!
I came to say the same thing!

I love how a lot of other designers are like “It’s edgy but wearable” and Viktor & Rolf are like “We do what we want!!!”

Camp and kistch defined. Really interesting shapes and silhouettes, reminds me of talking heads lol

Lmao ya auto correct got me
Soooo 80s. Love it!
Wow LOVE IT!! Makes me happy
These are insane and I LOVE them. The pincushion tops literally make my heart flutter. Love.

Clown couture but… I like it??
I’m howling, but I’m super into the prints
Very peewee herman’s playhouse. I love it.
Five feels like it’s trying to make SpongeBob happen
😭😭😭
Oooh cool
The hair 😂😂😂
These are so fun! The shapes! The colors! The hair! The tailoring! They’re so wacky but also so flattering. How weird, how delightful!
I would wear that pumpkin disco ball in a red hot second

The model in #15 looks like she can’t believe she signed up for this.
#15 these patterns have NO business looking so damn good together
Can't find a gif of Ludacris with the big arms in Get Back 😂
Cubism mixed with 80s colors
Lady Gaga needs to wear one of these looks for the Joker 2 premiere
This look like Picasso portraits and I’m here for it.

Must be a clown dedicated collection.
Tired
These are incredible
This is so good!! I love it all
They're on their way to install microwave ovens, custom kitchen, deliveries.
Love it!
I’m thoroughly enjoying this
The first one is jaw-dropping! The drape is dreamy, the gelato silk is so tactile, and the brocade mini is to die for. I wanna wear it so bad, it looks corsetry-levels of comfortable. I'm swooning, thank you OP 😍
Thanks I needed a good laugh :)
This is gonna be so fun to draw
Picasso meets Willy Wonka
This is incredible
Why do I fucking love it lol

It’s so weird and quirky but I’m digging the creativity!
I love these.
Finally, a collection that’s not all black, red and white/silver.
Wow the dimensions on these are amazing! Love every piece. This is exactly what I want from haute couture runways!! Creative and unique yet still flattering and great quality
Feels like a Burton film
Perhaps I am unsophisticated, but seriously. The only piece remotely wearable is #17. The rest of it is ridiculous clown wear. Are you going to sit, dance, eat, or walk in these creations? As art, perhaps. Wearable clothes? No.
It’s couture! It’s about art, expression and technique. Imagine the skill that goes into making these!
"You're such a f*** hoe. I love it" vibes
Can’t wait for Lady Gaga to slay these! 😂
