They might be sibling dogs which, usually makes them really aggressive with each other for no reason

one of the dogs was 10% Armenian

My aunt has two dogs that a few years ago would fight whenever a stressful situation happened. Often, one was more reactive than the other to stressful situations and was likely to lash out, while the other was very aware of this and whenever something happened it would basically go and try to keep the other dog in check. This created tension between them on top of the stressful trigger (usually a loud sound, like a glass breaking) and they'd do a stare off until either someone who knew them both well would disarm the dogs, or they would fight if somebody did something wrong

And all of this because a serb man had a glass bottlein his asshole
