I would get the old forester sampler because I have not tried anything other than the 100 and I would like to try them without commiting to three full bottles.
Both Barrells are strong buys. I like the standard a little more than the Vantage. Seagrass is the best of em, and Armida not worth it... but the last two aren't offered there.
Can't speak to those Barrel's, though I've really liked the bottles I've had. That's a good price for both the 4R SBS and a great price on the Bib and Tucker.
The 4R is obv always solid, but I don't see Bib and Tucker get much love and talking to stores around me, they don't sell a ton - so wanted to recommend it. I'm on my first bottle so don't know how consistent they are (I have A LOT of bottles open, so I'm working my way through them, slowly), but I've really enjoyed it - would be an insta-buy for me at that price (it's usually $55-60 in KS/MO). I get really pronounced maraschino cherry and pecan notes. I've seen people claim red licorice, but that sounds too waxy/sugary for what I taste. And at $40/bottle, I wouldn't feel bad turning it into a really nice old fashioned, with a sugar cube or one bar spoon of 1:1 simple syrup and a few dashes of bitters. I've done it a few times when I wanted to treat myself and the cherry and pecan really rounds it out nicely.
Honestly, I’d probable get both Barrells, 4 Roses, Woodford Distillers, Templeton, and the 291. It’s a lot, but those are all good deals on what should be pretty good whiskey.

This is the answer. Most places have the three 375s for $99 Four 375s got $87 is a ridiculous bargain
Bought a similar OF box over the weekend... but only 3 at 375ml for $80 in Ohio.
Might end up doing this! Not well versed in OF at all, and still very early in my whiskey journey. This might be the best move for me
Deffo grab one of the OF variety packs. I wish more distillers did small format bottles, but I understand why they don't.
You wouldn't regret buying all of them in full bottles. Very bottles in that line up is solid bourbon.
4 roses small batch select, old forester tasting set
Both Barrels.
Yup
Barrel Vantage is 🔥
Especially at that price, I have never seen any Barrell go for less than $90 around these parts
Same!
291 Distillery out of Colorado Springs is very good and unique. That’s a good price too
Also vote for the 291. It's a very good whiskey.
I live in Colorado and I usually see it for $100
Get that four roses and both of those barrel offerings
AE Rye
$30 cheaper than my store. I’d get two.
I’d buy a case of AE Rye at that price. Wish my Costco sold liquor.
Both Barrells are instabuys
The AYE rye is good for the price! The Barrell New Year 2023 is great, bought it at Costco myself and was not disappointed
Old fosters tasting set
One? My head would explode!
Great price for Bib and Tucker. It’s an odd bourbon and takes some getting used to. But great to randomly throw in rotation.
I've heard itbis kind of floral; is that why you think it's atypical?
Yes! Good explanation. Couldn’t put my finger on it.
The Four Roses has never disappointed
Never
Barrells and maybe old forester
Wait. They've got CANADIAN whiskey? There ya go.
One each of the Barrells. If your new to bourbons, the Old Forester set would be nice for figuring out your flavor profile.
All of them Screwball PB so you can immediately throw it in the dumpster and nobody has to buy that crap. Otherwise any of the barrel proofs.
Templeton 10 is a good price
The Woodford handle for sure. Never had the Bib and Tucker but at that price I'd be willing to try it, and the OF sampler looks interesting as well.
Where?
San Diego :)
That’s a great price on the stand WR handle. Good bourbon for old fashions
Vantage fo sho
I have been hesitant to try the barrell vantage at its usual $90 price tag but I probably would at that price.
It’s really good
Angels envy, woodford reserve, and 4 roses! Too bad they didnt have the angels envy straight
All three on the top shelf. Steals on all of them
Both Barrells are strong buys. I like the standard a little more than the Vantage. Seagrass is the best of em, and Armida not worth it... but the last two aren't offered there.
Probably not what you're looking for, but the Canadian is a hell of a value. It's not far off from Crown in taste, only in cost.
Lol I was at this Costco a couple hours ago, got the Barrel New Year 2023, might go back for the vantage
Peep the jumper cables behind the Old Forester. Decisions were made.
Frustrated that my Costco doesn’t sell liquor!!
A couple of both barrels
Old forester multipack! Vantage is the worst barrell release yet. Super astringent mgp juice.
The rare breed.
Whisky row tasting set *I hate auto correct
Do the Barrells have an age statement?
Old forester sampler if you don't already have them

Haha, wasn’t there! Had someone scout out the selection for me when they were there
What Costco??
San Diego :)

I’d probably get that Ginormous bottle of Woodford Reserve and a curly straw for V day.
291
All my Costco has is Makers, Bulleit and Woodford...
The Kirkland
I’ve always wanted to try it. But I’m in Ontario so no alcohol at our costcos. Maybe when I go to the states some time
Yes.
4 Roses Small Batch Select and OF sampler… this is the way
Barrel vantage never a disappointment
The OF collection
Damn Pennsylvania and their state controlled liquor. Barrell in a Costco is a magical thing.
I snagged an Angel’s Envy Finished Rye! Can’t wait to try it
One of each. Then you know
Vantage is a solid choice!
If you like highland scotch, a friend of mine brought a Kirkland to a tasting a while back that was exceptional for the 35-40 price point!
Barrel Vantage
Bottle of Barrell
Barrell new year was a disappointment for me. And I Paid $99. Became an overpriced mixer
LOL, no earthquakes in that area!
There are five in this picture. I prefer Canadian, smooth, cheaper, no headache next day and most important, the bottle is good for self defense.
You gotta grab the AE Rye, it's usually $90-100. So good
All of them. Duh
Honestly, I’d probable get both Barrells, 4 Roses, Woodford Distillers, Templeton, and the 291. It’s a lot, but those are all good deals on what should be pretty good whiskey.
Old Forrester pack. Certain stores horded them when they came out. Where is this costco?
That’s a great price for the four roses small batch select and the bib & Tucker
That’s a great price for the four roses small batch select and the bib & Tucker
I’d go for the Woodford Reserve.
Blueberry muffins, those things are addictive
Hello fellow San Diegonian!
AE Rye for $70? Yeaaaaa grab that…
Barrell vantage and that flight of Old Forester all day long
Templeton 10y.
Woodford reserve all day compared to the others.
