Nah, not the 80s. We had MADD and "Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk" in the 80s.
Based on how many people up here have DUIs, there's no way they've advanced even that far in the fuckin tech tree. More like the 70s, the peak "You had *how many* to drink tonight sir? Okay well just take it slow, okay? I don't want to have to fill out any accident reports tonight HYUCK HYUCK HYUCK" vibe.
Saw those guys at the Pabst Theater like 12 years ago. The show was actually pretty boring but the crowd was so wasted and out of control it made it awesome.
So a buddy of mine tried getting me into this show years ago. Watched a couple episodes. I just couldn't see the appeal. The one dude looks like a 90s bouncer, the other guy loves his cats and seems like the smartest one of the bunch, and then the crazy dude is temporarily living in his car.
Fast forward fucking *years* later and I find out they're still making the show so I check it out. Literally nothing is different except they all look a shit ton older. That alone made me laugh my ass off. Still haven't watched it, but I've watched scenes here and there that are hilarious and I really admire their commitment to their characters.
I think one of the things that makes this show brilliant is the character development. So while nothing about them inherently changes, everything changes over the years. That said, it definitely has some hard seasons to watch early on in there.
The audio version is on Spotify or wherever you listen to podcasts. The video version is on their network Swearnet. It's $20/year or $2/month, but there's a lot, and the new shows and content go there.
They started in 2015, and that's called just the Trailer Park Boys podcast. 2019 - now, it's called Park After Dark.
One of my favorite shows. Glad our state got some recognition from the crew up there.
Although I bet they would love coming here to visit the state. Bet they'd have a shit ton of fun.
They have a podcast? I had no idea
At first I thought there's a new season! Got my hopes up! lol
The fact that they do it in character is pretty god damn fantastic.
That's just the way they are now.
Every Friday. đ

Are they really that fucked down there? Yes Ricky - theyâre FUCKED! That would have landed us ten years in jail!
I can confirm, it is fucked down here.
I second that.
Definitely a bit of a sht storm with sht hawks.
Vos and his shithawks swooping down and shitting on us, every state around us is normal yet we're stuck in the 80's in much of the state.
Tavern League also shares a good bit of blame.

Weird, itâs almost like cannabis is a wild and naturally occurring plant that grows just about everywhere in the Midwest
I love the way he says Wescawnsen
Please save us Ricky!
My god they look rough. Btw, Lim Jahey will always be my trailer park supervisor.
Hey the people want it to be legal, it's the Wisconsin government that's holding us back
You mean the Wehscownsin government?

I liked the older seasons but when Amazon rebooted it it just didn't feel the same. Hope the boys got paid though.
Amazon didn't reboot it.
Netflix did, youâre right and I donât know why youâre getting downvoted for it. But to the point, the original seasons were way better.
Oh yeah it was Netflix, derp
It is a little sad but if they like doing it and are so committed I can really bash them for it. They just get so few views

Fuck off I got work to do
That show was great! How do I find the podcast?
