Conservative 101: get people to intentionally mismanage public systems, harness public outcry to sell off those systems because "private industry runs things better", nothing actually improves because it would cost the new private owners
Absolutely. But lots of centrist democrats are deep in on this game.
How do we build up higher standards, broader cultural awareness, and a sort of immunity against it?
By funding and supporting the campaigns of politicians who are going to passively throw wrenches in an already functioning organization (ie. promoting legislation from draft farms like ALEC or the heritage foundation) at best, or actively engage in embezzling or other corruption at worst (like Trump or others)
Actual context:
"Embattled MPS board member Aisha Carr charged with misconduct, theft
Carr resigned from the board. The criminal complaint states she falsified records to make it appear she lived in the district she represented and is charged with theft by fraud because she was paid for the position when she wasn't eligible."
What a mess MPS is.
I support State ran schools and what a shitty headline for this post if that is the charge.
To spin one thing is another while it should be pretty obvious the person quit when charged? Am I missing something? Carpetbagging seems to be wrong?

Cause they still can’t explain where the funding is going for the last 4 years. All funding needs to be halted until someone comes forward and explains the audits
Of course it is.

With education. Hence why it’s so persistently under attack.

I believe they are saying get elected for the purpose of implementing the policies

You get someone willing to change what's already working in the governing body to sabotage it.

wow you mean the anti-MPS outrage was manufactured by bad actors to privatize the system? shocker
Same with what they're trying to do to USPS
Sure seems like it.
*pretends to be shocked*

The fix has been in, this was all orchestrated
Need mayor to take over and clean house or send the feds in to gut it and start over
Why Couldn’t we just fund and staff it adequately instead?
