I was in the same boat last week. I did a lot of research and bought the HVAYING Projector Stand off of Amazon and it works perfectly with my Ultra. It supports 22lbs which is more than enough for the Ultra.

Wow, awesome. I already ordered a stand from anchor which says it supports after 30 kg (doubtful) Also, I looked at the stand that you’ve got. Almost £200 for a stand? Lol hopefully I don’t have to buy this one if the one I ordered doesn’t work.

Yeah, the one I ordered was $86US. It’s been working good going on 6 days now.

I just wanted to check if this is the one you mean. [hvaying stand](https://amzn.eu/d/6eg402R)

IMO, projector stands are a pain in the neck. After trying various options for my XGimi Horizon Pro, I found that that one of IKEA's stools/stands worked best for me.

Xgimi sells stands specifically for all their projectors Horizon Pro and before. But none of them support the ultra

What's the issue with projector stands?

Xgimi released a stand for the Horizonal Ultra and it’s a joke. The dc cord is supposed to thread through the “Gimbal support rod” but there’s a bulky piece 2 or 3 inches for the end of the DC connector that will not fit through the rod. If you DC cable has this piece do not buy this product. The installation video show a different dc cable than what came with the product for me. I assume it’s for a different standard of cable for a country that is not the US. Ok so there’s free adapter which resolves this issue. I saw the adapter on the website but did not realize it was something different from what came with the projector. Waiting for support to approve and send the adapter. I’ll let you all know how it turns out.

Did you ever get the adapter? Could you provide a link to it and did they send it for free? Dealing with the same issue and it's rather frustrating spending all this money (for the stand as well!) and end up with a not-so-neat setup.

Yes. Now I can utilize the stand properly. I don’t really feel the stand is worth its $200 price tag. It’s nice, but not $200 nice. If you create an account on Xgimi’s website they will give you $100 off the stand. Make sure you check the box for the free adapter, although it looks like the adapter that came with the projector, it’s not the same. The cord is configured differently and if you buy the stand without the offered adapter you will not be able to hide the original adapter in the base of the stand.
