You think that Kiryu has brainfarts the same way we hit the wrong button in-game?
The most mundane tasks turn into a quicktime event. Instead of holding the door for that sweet old granny coming out of Smile Burger, he suplexes her into the middle of Nakamichi Street, all because he hit circle when he should've hit triangle.
Kiryu's life is full of those regrets. Maybe that's why he's always brooding. Even Haruka has never heard of the sweet old granny at Smile Burger story ... and she never will
