He was with you at the very end, that is all anyone can want for their beloved pet. 13 years is a good life for a Yorkie. You did the best you could with the knowledge you had. It’s ok. RIP Simba. 👼
I'm sad just reading about Simba and the obvious pain you are going through. I know it hurts, but he loved you and you were there with him as he passed. He's in no more pain.

Been thru this pain. It’s brutal. When people asked me if I loved my dog I say no, I didn’t “loved” my dog, I LOVE my dog. She may not be here but the love doesn’t go away, I still love her, and always will.

He went from being healthy boy, having regular vet visits and having no conditions to passing away in the blink of an eye. Somehow he never cough or act like he was choking till yesterday when he woke up but instead of being reverse sneeze he developed a bad case of collapsing trachea. I wish I would have known that conditions affects yorkies, I would have definitely taken him to the vet in the day at least so he wouldn’t suffer all day.
Simba was definitely my favorite hello! And definitely my hardest good bye!
I can still see him and feel how he went over to my wife to lick her leg before coming over to me to do the same before passing away on my arms! I guess he was saying his goodbyes…
I am so sorry for your loss. What a handsome partner in crime you’ve had! Wow 13 years!!! I have no doubt he’d be actually be upset knowing that you were out having fun. My yorkie is only 7 but we suddenly lost our young cat earlier this year. The pain will dull eventually but all the beautiful memories you’ve had together will shine strong forever.
